This one-hour webinar will provide a practical overview of how accounting practitioners can use social media data to track and evaluate the value of Off-the-Books Intangible Assets.

Overview

After discussing the social media universe and its potential for use in business intelligence efforts, participants will be exposed to innovative ways of thinking about and capturing off-the-books intangible assets such as brand equity and reputation using Big Data and data analytics methods. A follow-up workshop will introduce participants to specific Python and R-based techniques to implement some of the concepts (e.g., dashboards) covered in this webinar.
