Overview
In this one-hour webinar, funded by CPA Ontario and the Schulich CPA Ontario Centre in Digital Financial Information, Dr. Andrea Kelton will provide an overview of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), including use cases in accounting. Dr. Kelton will discuss the benefits and risks associated with the use of RPA and best practices for implementation and governance.

About the Presenter
Dr. Andrea Kelton, PhD, is a Professor of Accounting in the Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Previously, she was Assistant Professor of Accounting at Wake Forest University and the University of South Florida. She was an Assurance Senior Associate at KPMG and received a PhD in accounting from the University of Tennessee (2006). Her research on auditing and accounting analytics has been published in such journals as AUDITING: A Journal of Practice & Theory, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, Organizations & Society, and the Journal of Information Systems.
