WEBINAR on Social Network Analysis

Overview
In this one-hour webinar, funded by CPA Ontario and the Schulich CPA Ontario Centre in Digital Financial Information, Dr. Saxton will introduce viewers to the fascinating world of social network analysis (SNA). By integrating SNA into their analytics toolkit, accountants can enhance their analytical capabilities, offering more comprehensive insights into financial data and business relationships. For example, SNA holds the potential to provide accountants with advanced tools for fraud detection, risk assessment, and improved auditing by uncovering hidden patterns and connections in financial data. It also aids in compliance monitoring, network optimization, market analysis, and client management, enhancing the ability to present complex data effectively and make informed decisions. Before using this tool, though, it is important to have a grasp of the fundamental concepts. The aim for the webinar is to help CPAs understand this complex, cutting-edge subject in an inviting and comprehensible way, ideal for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Key concepts and methodologies of social network analysis will be highlighted in an accessible and inviting manner.

Webinar participants will receive an official verified confirmation of participation after the webinar that can be used toward CPA professional development requirements.
