About the Presenter
Peter Kipp, Ph.D., CPA, is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of South Florida (2017). His research analyzes human-machine interactions in financial reporting and investing and the impact of emerging technologies on human judgment and decision-making. His research has received the “Outstanding Research Award” for the Accounting Information Systems and Strategic and Emerging Technologies Conference and has appeared in Journal of Information Systems and Accounting Horizons.​​​​​​​
