Dr. Kelton will discuss ways that technology is both making it easier for fraudsters to commit fraud and also easier for accounting professionals to prevent and detect fraud

About the Presenter
Dr. Andrea Kelton, PhD, CPA, is Associate Professor of Accounting in the Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Previously, she was Assistant Professor of Accounting at Wake Forest University and the University of South Florida. She was an Assurance Senior Associate at KPMG and received a PhD in accounting from the University of Tennessee (2006). Her research on auditing and accounting analytics has been published in such journals as AUDITING: A Journal of Practice & Theory, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, Organizations & Society, and Journal of Information Systems.
